410 Mckenzie Street
Morse, Saskatchewan S0H 3C0
The building that is now the museum began life as the town school. It was built in 1912 and operated as a school until 1979. After escaping destruction it became a museum in 1987. The Morse museum features ten artifact filled rooms that tell the story of the town, its residents, and our provinces homesteading past. Major features include the Victorian Parlour, the Reed Lake Interpretive Centre, and a functioning blacksmith shop. In addition to the permanent exhibits, at varying times through the year, we host temporary exhibits. There is sure to be something to interest everyone.
