Gail Adams Studio of Art, founded in 1980 by artist Gail Adams, started in the basement of her home in Saskatoon, SK. Over the years, the studio expanded significantly, offering a wide range of classes, workshops, and camps in various mediums and styles to students of all ages, from 4-year-olds to seniors.

After 44 years of operation, the studio announced its closure in June 2024. The business, which at its peak taught around 250 students weekly with multiple instructors in several locations, faced challenges due to the pandemic, leading to reduced class sizes and ultimately impacting its ability to recover fully.

Despite the closure, the legacy of Gail Adams Studio of Art lives on through the countless students who have been inspired and nurtured by the dedicated instructors, including Carey-Lynn Link and Eva Peters-Kooy. The studio fostered a community where students felt like friends and family, creating memories, celebrating milestones, and supporting each other through life's ups and downs.
