The Independent Media Arts Alliance (IMAA) is a member-driven non-profit organization based in Montreal, QC, dedicated to advancing and strengthening the media arts community across Canada. Representing over 100 independent organizations in film, video, audio, and new media, the IMAA serves more than 16,000 media artists and cultural workers nationwide.

With a focus on advocacy and support for artists, the IMAA facilitates initiatives such as the Media Arts Advocacy Toolkit and the Resource Access Network, enabling artists to engage with their communities and enhance their skills.
