FemTherapeutics is a female-founded medical device company headquartered in Montreal, Quebec with a mission to personalize medicine for women. One in every four women, and one in every two women over 80, will suffer from Pelvic Floor Disorders (PFD's), such as incontinence and Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP). These disorders are severely underserved and produce a significant gender disparity in medical innovation. FemTherapeutics is building the world's first customized gynaecological prosthetic (or vaginal pessary) to improve the quality, cost and access to pelvic care.
