Weston Area Emergency Support
Weston Area Emergency Support (WAES) is a community-driven food bank established in 1986 by local churches to address the growing needs of the Weston area. Located in the Central United Church building, WAES provides essential food support and security to vulnerable residents, welcoming clients from all backgrounds with respect and dignity.
Since the onset of COVID-19, WAES has seen a significant increase in demand, with over 2,300 visits recorded in late 2021. The organization serves individuals living within the boundaries of Wilson Ave, Royal York, Black Creek, and Eglinton Ave, focusing on those most in need, including children and seniors.
