Welsh Pony & Cob Society of Canada

The Welsh Pony & Cob Society of Canada, established in 1979, emerged from the Canadian Pony Society to serve the growing community of Welsh breed enthusiasts. It is dedicated to recording the lineage and ownership of Welsh ponies and cobs, maintaining a comprehensive Stud Book managed by the Canadian Livestock Records Corporation.

Each year, the Society convenes an Annual General Meeting that allows members to engage with one another, discuss important matters, and participate in the governance of the organization. This meeting, which alternates between eastern and western Canada, not only serves as a business forum but also fosters social connections among Welsh breeders and owners.
