The Master of Mathematical Finance (MMF) program, established in 1998 at the University of Toronto, is recognized as a leading institution for training in quantitative finance. With a boutique approach, the program admits a select number of students each year, fostering a close-knit learning environment and enabling collaborative, industry-like projects.
Over the course of 12 months, MMF students engage in rigorous coursework focused on financial mathematics, followed by a four-month full-time internship with industry partners. Graduates are well-equipped to pursue careers in high-demand areas such as hedge funds, banks, and government institutions, often leading to accelerated professional growth in one of the fastest-growing fields in applied mathematics.
