The S.P.A.C.E., the School of Performing Arts for the Community of East York, was founded by Linette Doherty in 2004 as a nurturing environment aimed at building self-esteem through the arts. Offering a diverse range of classes in acting, dance, and vocal instruction, the center caters to individuals of all ages, providing an opportunity to learn from qualified industry professionals in a supportive atmosphere.

With a focus on developing determination, perseverance, and technique, The S.P.A.C.E. ensures personal attention in its small class sizes, promoting a genuine love for performing arts. Students showcase their talents in seasonal performances, including a Christmas show and a Year End Show, while also having opportunities to participate in the Student Performing Artist Company Ensemble led by experienced guest instructors.
