Built in 1832, The Royal Manor was once owned by James Crooks, a famous Militia Captain in the war of 1812. After the war he became a prominent merchant and landowner, building this home as a Tavern and Inn. Nestled in a horseshoe of the Niagara Parks Preserve, the Royal Manor is a historical and yet modern Inn. Completely renovated in 2024 and under local ownership, at the Royal our aim is to provide you with a memorable stay, served with a delicious breakfast in a serene surrounding. Offering 5 rooms ranging from 150 Sq Ft to 200 Sq Ft, all of our rooms provide a Queen-sized bed, large TV with complimentary Netflix, coffee and tea services, private baths. Nothing beats the feeling of a place you never want to leave!! Whether you want to curl up in front of the fireplace on the big sofa with a glass of wine, perhaps you prefer sitting by the Koi Pond nestled in-between giant Willows or in one of the rocking chairs on the screened in porch or relax on the back patio with your feet up and a good book. All the comforts of our home are for you to enjoy. Feel like getting out and going about? Something fancy? Let our Inn keeper help you plan a fine dining experience at a local winery with a wine pairing. Dinner and a show? We can help you plan an evening at the theater with an early diner reservation. Or perhaps a nice 5-minute stroll to Historic Old Town to the local Pub to enjoy a band with an ice cold beer and some fish and chips.
