St Lawrence Youth Association

The St. Lawrence Youth Association (SLYA) is a nonprofit charitable organization based in Kingston, Ontario, dedicated to supporting youth aged twelve to seventeen who are in conflict with the law. Primarily funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, SLYA offers restorative and preventative youth justice programs tailored to help young individuals grow into confident and capable members of society.

With a vision of reducing recidivism, SLYA aims for every youth to exit its programs feeling supported and prepared for success. The organization also honors the traditional lands of the Original Peoples, recognizing the historical significance of the territories and the contributions of Indigenous communities across Turtle Island.
