Ryandale - Transitional Housing
Ryandale Transitional Housing is a registered not-for-profit charitable organization that has been serving the homeless population in Kingston, ON, for over 40 years. Initially founded as the Ryandale Shelter for the Homeless in 1985 by a coalition of local churches, it has evolved to provide sober living spaces for men, helping them learn life skills, heal from trauma and addiction, and overcome barriers to stable housing.
Currently, Ryandale operates three transitional houses and accommodates up to 22 residents at a time. Committed to the principles of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Indigenization, the organization supports individuals without discrimination based on their past drug use, mental illness, or time spent in prison.
