Rivint Interpretation & Trans
Rivint Interpretation & Trans, formerly known as Riverdale Interpreters, was established in January 2000 in partnership with the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration and the South Riverdale Community Health Centre. This social enterprise provides interpretation services in over 100 languages and dialects, with all profits reinvested into the charitable organization Elspeth Heyworth Centre for Women.
Specializing in the medical sector, Rivint works closely with major hospitals in the Greater Toronto Area, offering on-site interpreters who facilitate communication between medical staff and patients, breaking down language barriers. Recognized for their excellence, Rivint received the Social Enterprise Angels Award and continues to strive for further recognition within Ontario and across Canada.
