At Ottawa Kabab, we take pride in offering a halal and authentic taste of the Middle East, featuring an array of dishes from Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq. Our journey began in late 2021 when Mamown Srdah, a talented Syrian chef, took over the previously Iraqi-owned restaurant. With a deep passion for his heritage’s cuisine, Srdah carefully crafted a menu that highlights the best of Syrian dishes while incorporating beloved Lebanese and Iraqi favorites. Our offerings include sizzling, halal-certified lamb, chicken, and beef skewers grilled to perfection over charcoal, hearty Syrian breakfasts, and refreshing Lebanese tabbouleh. Each dish is prepared using traditional recipes and the freshest ingredients, with herbs and spices imported directly from the Middle East to capture the true essence of the region's flavors. Additionally, our dips, such as smoky baba ganoush and creamy mutabal, enhance every meal.
