Nami Japanese Restaurant is considered one of Toronto's finest Japanese restaurants and has been for well over 40 years. Traditional Japanese cuisine is served in an authentic yet modern setting. Imagine yourself in Kyoto, with kimono-clad servers bringing a steaming hot pot of aromatic sukiyaki to your private booth. Or why not try a modern classic, the "Sushi Pizza," invented by Nami many years ago and now copied by Japanese restaurants around the globe. Intimate gathering? Behind the rice paper screen doors at the back of the restaurant is our Tatami Room which can seat up to 22 guests comfortably on tatami mats. If you are a connoisseur of sushi and sashimi, the Sushi Bar is the best place to watch our skilled chefs in action. If you prefer grilled seafood, our chefs at the Robata Bar (the only one of its kind in Toronto) will cook Japanese "surf and turf" to perfection over an open flame in front of you.
