Lake of the Woods Employment Action Project, also known as LEAP identifies and addresses the factors which contribute to unemployment in Kenora, ON, and the surrounding areas. As the largest provider of community employment services in Kenora, we assist job seekers and employers alike by providing resources such as our job board, job placements, and one-to-one support. Since 1984, LEAP has provided employment support through resume and cover letter writing, job application assistance, job searching, and community referrals to ensure our clients reach their employment goals.

Shawendaawsowin Child & Family Services operates within the Treaty #3 territory, providing essential protection and prevention services to First Nations communities in northern Ontario, specifically focusing on Naotkamegwanning and Northwest Angle #33 First Nations.
