Holistic Ayurvedic treatments of ancient India for modern day dis-eases. Ayurveda (meaning "the science of life") is a holistic healing system that originated in India more than 5,000 years ago. It treats mind, body and spirit as one, and strives to balance the essential elements that exist in all of us, to attain our natural state of pure health. It does this through a variety of cleansing and rejuvenating treatments, change in diet, lifestyle and overall perception with mindfulness therapies. At Jeevanaya, a guest will be assessed for their biological constitution (Doshas) upon which a treatment is recommended. Our Registered Massage Therapists are also trained in Lomi Lomi-Hawaiian massage treatment, offered exclusively at our wellness centre in Barrie. With trained and certified Yoga teachers, we also make tailored treatment plans which include Ayurvedic and other holistic treatments, Yoga and Diet changes for a complete transformation.
