Under New Management as of February 2020 the Cookhouse is located at the Base Camp of Haliburton Forest. The Cookhouse is open year round with reduced hours in the spring and fall. They offer food for every taste, from delicious breakfast dishes, salads and appetizers to burgers, chicken & waffles, shrimp grits and fish & chips. They specialize in smoked meats and forest/farm to table dinning. Operating as a licensed restaurant, the Cookhouse caters to a wide array of customers, including visitors to the Forest, participants of group experiences and corporate groups.
