This plaza is home to several unique attractions, including the GMG Ginseng Visitor Centre with a demonstration farm on site, Apple Hill Apothecary Store with a Medicinal Herb Garden, an antique shop, and a popular wine tour company. Visitors can easily spend half a day exploring this one-of-a-kind destination. Great Mountain Ginseng, founded in 1989 by Charles and Diana Yeh, is one of Canada's largest ginseng retailers. As one of the earliest Chinese growers of Ontario-grown ginseng, the Yeh family recognized its superiority and saw the potential for opening a retail outlet with Diana Yeh's expertise in the industry. They were the first Chinese-owned and operated company to establish a significant commercial ginseng agribusiness in Ontario.
