Donburi ドンブリ - 吉味家

Established in 2013. Donburi's first store opened in Markham Ontario. Finding her love for food and Japanese cuisine in particular, Irene Lee, decide to create Japanese home style dishes that can be readily accessible to the public. The rice bowl is a very traditional staple in many Japanese households and Irene felt this under-served niche deserved a lot more attention than it deserved among the sushi and ramen joints around the GTA. Among the many variations of dons (rice bowls), Donburi also offers small izakaya style appetizers and skewers. We are excited and proud of our brand and neighbourhood connections and we hope everyone will enjoy their time in the restaurant.
