Bear Creek Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary, located just west of Barrie, Ontario, is a volunteer-driven Private Foundation and Registered Charity founded in 1989 by Werner Ebner. Dedicated to the survival of rare and endangered species, the sanctuary provides a safe haven for unwanted, abused, and injured exotic and indigenous wildlife, many of which are rescued from the brink of euthanasia.
As authorized wildlife custodians, Bear Creek is actively involved in humane wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and care for various species, including big cats, canines, bears, and primates. The sanctuary also offers several ways for the community to support their mission through donations, animal sponsorships, and an Amazon Wish List for supplies and toys.
