Radstorm
RadStorm is a collectively-run not-for-profit events and art space located in Kjipuktuk, on unceded Mi'kmaq territory. The organization fosters a vibrant community for exploring and creating independent and alternative media art, music, and education, serving as a platform for local artists, activists, and community members to collaborate on various projects.
As a dry-space, RadStorm emphasizes a safe and inclusive environment for all ages, hosting a range of activities including music rehearsals, art exhibitions, educational workshops, and political discussions. Notably, the center is home to several collectives, including the Anchor Archive Zine Library and InkStorm Screenprinting Studio, and is dedicated to promoting creative and progressive cultural activities through a DIY approach.
