The Maritime Aboriginal Peoples Council (MAPC) serves as a regional Aboriginal Peoples Leaders Institution representing the Traditional Ancestral Homeland of the Mi'kmaq, Maliseet, and Passamaquoddy Aboriginal Peoples across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. Established by the Native Council of Nova Scotia, the Native Council of Prince Edward Island, and the New Brunswick Aboriginal Peoples Council, MAPC is committed to advocating for the rights and interests of Aboriginal Peoples living on their traditional lands.
