The Grand Narrows Waterfront Development Society (GNWDS) is a not-for-profit organization located in Central Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, dedicated to preserving and enhancing the area formerly known as the Iona-Grand Narrows Ferry Terminal. With a commitment to community development, they provide a scenic waterfront experience complemented by the new Wheelhouse Café and an array of summer events.
For the 2025 season, GNWDS has introduced a variety of exciting improvements including new signage, a stage for live music, and a refreshed events calendar designed to engage and delight both familiar and new visitors at this picturesque location on Bras d'Or Lake.
