Inspired to bring the highest quality of furniture into the homes of Atlantic Canadians, the Ramia brothers opened the doors to Gallery1 in 1988. As the first of its kind, and more than just a furniture retailer, the brothers envisioned a space where beautiful furniture and decor would awaken design inspiration. The store featured staged vignettes where customers were encouraged to mingle amongst the furniture, explore the curated collections and discover stylish decor. Gallery 1 believes in quality craftsmanship, carrying many Canadian–made brands by designers such as Kimberly Seldon and Steven Chris. Gallery1 is continuously inspired by the arts, architecture, and culture surrounding us.
