This place is temporarily closed. The Fundy Tidal Interpretive Centre is a great place to witness and learn about the world-famous tidal bore, and be inspired by the natural wonder of the Bay of Fundy tides. An interpretive centre as well as a visitor information centre, our friendly and knowledgeable team is ready to welcome you to East Hants, Home of the World's Highest Tides! Explore our observation platform with stunning views, and visit out free interpretive centre to learn more about some history, facts & fun. Watch the tidal bore pass by! Join us for our interpretive talk and see the river change direction and then rise 10 feet in the following 30 minutes. Check the schedule posted on our website early each year to plan your visit. Enjoy a nature walk on the 1-km trail, complete with opportunities for bird & eagle watching. Plenty of free parking (RV and buses welcome). Pet-friendly and wheelchair accessible. Open seasonally mid-May to mid-October.
