Glass Artisans Gallery, located on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, was established in 2004 by Wendy Smith. The gallery features a variety of glass artworks created by Wendy and over 20 other artists, some of whom have been artists in residence on-site. Visitors can witness the captivating process of glassblowing firsthand through interactive demonstrations.
With a Flameworking Studio, Casting and Cold Working Studio, and a Glass Blowing Studio, Glass Artisans offers a diverse range of glass art experiences. The gallery showcases unique pieces of art, gifts made from glass, and highlights the craftsmanship of various talented artists. The studio's emphasis on hands-on experiences allows patrons to engage with the artistry of molten glass in a compelling way.
