Eel Ground First Nation

Eel Ground First Nation, also known as Natoaganeg, is a Mi'kmaq community located on the Miramichi River in northern New Brunswick, Canada. With a population of approximately 1094 members, the community is comprised of three reserves and has a rich history dating back thousands of years.

The community is dedicated to preserving its cultural traditions centered around hunting, fishing, and gathering, while actively engaging in economic development, education, health, and social services. Recently, the Natoaganeg Community Food Centre announced the construction of a new greenhouse to extend their food growing efforts, showcasing their commitment to building a bright future for their people.
