STZ'Uminus First Nation
Stz'uminus First Nation, located in Ladysmith, BC, is home to the Coast Salish People with a history spanning thousands of years around the Salish Sea. Their traditional territory on east Vancouver Island encompasses over 1,200 hectares, bordering the Strait of Georgia and Ladysmith Harbour.
With 1,300 members, half of whom reside on the reserves, the Nation is guided by sacred teachings to support and inspire each other in building a prosperous and healthy community for present and future generations.
