MARS Wildlife Rescue Visitor Centre

We offer pre-booked indoor and outdoor tours for groups of up to eight, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 to 2:00 pm. MARS Wildlife Rescue is a non-profit providing care for orphaned and injured wildlife on northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Our wildlife hospital is open 365 days a year for patient admissions. Our visitor centre provides tours, an exhibit hall, and a gift shop in support of our wildlife hospital. During our open days, children and adults meet our non-releasable ambassador owls, eagles, and albino crows, and learn how we can reduce human impacts on native species and habitats. Sorry, pets are not allowed on site as they cause stress to wildlife. Our visitor building is fully accessible. Most of our outdoor tour route is packed gravel paths and accommodates walkers, strollers, and wheelchairs. We look forward to greeting you!
