Family Justice Centres
The Justice and Public Safety Council in Vernon, BC, was established in April 2013 to promote a collaborative vision for the justice and public safety sectors under the Justice Reform and Transparency Act. It is tasked with developing an annual plan that aims to enhance cooperation among various stakeholders in these critical areas.
The Council organizes Justice Summits at least once a year, bringing together leaders from the justice sector, both governmental and external, to foster open dialogue about system performance and opportunities for improvement. These gatherings are designed to stimulate innovation while addressing key challenges within the justice and public safety landscape.
