Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland is dedicated to fostering life-changing mentoring relationships that empower girls, non-binary, transgender, and gender diverse youth facing various challenges such as bullying, isolation, and low self-esteem. Since 1960, the organization has been committed to building resilience among youth, creating safer schools and communities, and contributing to a brighter future for all.

Each year, Big Sisters serves approximately 450 youth, providing over 41,000 recorded mentoring hours, with 92% of mentored youth reporting increased happiness and confidence. Through their programs, they protect the wellness and mental health of over 700 youth annually, responding to a growing demand for support in the community.
