Only true entrepreneurs would look at a WWII Air Force hangar and see a brewery. In 2006, our enthusiastic tribe donated supplies, picked up their tools and paintbrushes, and converted a 1936 Quonset hut at Currie Barracks into a microbrewery. Our Taproom, AF23, was born. From our beer to our menu, we choose ingredients that represent the spirit of Alberta.Fresh, local, sustainable. This philosophy is the heart of our menu and is evident in every morsel prepared by Chef Robbie Bellavance and his team. Our menu items are handcrafted fresh each day at the Taproom.
