Hello, my name is Matricia Bauer, and my traditional name is: She who moves mountains. I hail from the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation, and currently reside in the beautiful National Park, on Treaty 6 & Treaty 8 home to the Beaver, Stony, Nakoda, Swepemec, Cree, and Mountain Metis. My goal is to share all the beautiful aspects of my culture, and my journey back home to my ancestors.
