The Vault Cultural Collective

The Vault is the centre for culture in Strathmore. It provides a dedicated space for visual arts displays and brings together nine of the community’s cultural organizations. This free gallery welcomes everyone to peek into Strathmore’s local talent with beautiful pieces to take home from their gift shop. The Vault is an essential stop to experience Strathmore’s history, arts, and culture. With a frequently changing gallery of local artists new pieces are added to their displays regularly. Not only does The Vault feature their own events and performances, but they help to promote a rich collection of cultural events with their partner organizations like the Strathmore Performing Arts Festival, Arts on 817, Strathmore Musical Arts Society, and the Western District Historical Society. The Vault is housed in one of Strathmore’s most iconic historic buildings. Built as the Union Bank in 1910, the picturesque building is in the heart of Strathmore’s downtown. The Vault is a not-for-profit society dedicated to the development and promotion of fine arts in Strathmore.
