The Beaver Bar

The Beaver Bar in Banff, Alberta is a funky little backpacker spot to exercise your liver. You'll find us tucked in next to the Samesun hostel lobby, so you don't even have to brave the Canadian Rocky Mountain wind chill to enjoy an affordable beverage. It may be smaller than the Vancouver hostel bar, but its cheery atmosphere has satisfied many a backpacker and its intimacy has made it a top venue choice for indie bands from across Canada. The Banff hostel provides awesome enertainment at The Beaver Bar.It's a great place to chill over a few affordable beers, start out your night on the town, or meet other backpacker types. We host a theme party once a month and put on quite a show for all our international backpackers & their holidays: Halloween, Australia Day, Canada Day, New Years & St Paddy's. We also have live band performances twice a month giving the hostel a groovy heartbeat. If you're here for any of these nights - get involved, they're epic! Our Thursday open mic night and Sunday roast are also known in town as a lively option if you're keen for some fun. Whether you are rolling down the stairs from your hostel bed or driving in through the Rocky Mountains to come in for a cold one, you know you are getting the most economical food & beverage in town.
