Housing equipment from a bygone era, the building was used as the Telegraph Office until the late 1970s. Then in 2012, this historic Building was converted to a family friendly Gastro pub having kept much memorabilia from the telegraph days. Today, customers walk through the door and step into the past. The Telegraph Taphouse where friends and strangers gather to talk over good food and great beer. Through locally-sourced ingredients and globally-inspired recipes, The Telegraph aims to create a truly multicultural, truly ‘Canadian’ cuisine. The Heart Behind the Telegraph Taphouse: Ram’s passion for premium food, quality drink, and community-connection burn bright in Lethbridge Like the Telegraph, owner Ram Khanal has a rich history with a global reach. His twenty-two years in the service industry have taken him around the world more than once from his birth-home in Nepal, to his new home in Alberta.
