52 City of Calgary Royal Canadian Air Cadets is the first of seven air cadet squadrons in Calgary, dedicated to fostering the development of future leaders through a structured youth organization. The squadron provides a progressive program designed to instill teamwork, discipline, and citizenship among its members.

Regular parade nights are held on Tuesdays, with a comprehensive schedule that includes opening and closing parades, as well as various instructional periods aimed at enhancing the skills and experiences of the cadets. The organization operates from the basement of the Southwood Community Association, creating a supportive environment for youth engagement and growth.
