Mission Statement To preserve, maintain and interpret the historic McDougall Stoney Mission Church, site and landmarks for the benefit all visitors worldwide, for generations to come. Vision Statement Share and celebrate the exceptional pioneer heritage of Western Canada that is uniquely reflected in the story of the Morleyville Settlement, inspiring others to follow in the path of peace and mutual respect between all peoples. Encourage everyone that attends the site to: • Understand history – through interpretive walks and presentations, and through supporting archaeological and historical research in the area. • Connect with the Stoney Nation - through fellowship, special events and cultural displays and programs. • Explore regional culture - through art, dance, theater and craft. • Learn local ecology and nature – interpret the biology, geology and botany of the site and surrounding area, including local Indigenous knowledge of the region.
