My areas of focus have been working with adults experiencing mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, phobias, borderline personality disorder, transitions, relationship issues; loss and grief; and learning to adopt more effective habits and coping in life. The foundation of my approach is based on dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). However, I pull, heavily, from strengths-based and narrative influences. I also focus on trauma work through the use of accelerated resolution therapy (ART). I believe in a collaborative approach with my clients. We work as team to get you to your goals and better mental wellness. I see therapy as an active process.
