The Dickson Store Museum is a seasonal museum that is open from mid May until Labor Day, seven days a week from 10:00 till 5:30. Relive shopping in the 1930's at the Dickson Store Museum. The experience begins as soon as you open the door to this quaint little store and the smell of pungent cheddar cheese and fresh ground coffe hit you. The museum is located on the same site in the original building and is restored to the 1930's era. The store that housed the post office is located on the main floor with the typical living quarters upstairs. Costumed interpreters will be happy to take you on an informative tour, scoop your icecream topped with a smile, or assist you in the gift shop that offers hand made items and published books by local artisans and authors.
