College-Dental Technologists
College of Dental Technologists of Alberta (CDTA) plays a crucial role in regulating and overseeing the practice of Registered Dental Technologists and Registered Dental Technicians in Alberta. As important members of the oral health care team, dental technologists and technicians are guided by the standards set by the CDTA to ensure quality care for patients.
The CDTA focuses on maintaining professional conduct through various committees and regulatory documents to uphold the competence and education of its members. Additionally, the College provides resources and guidance to dental technologists and technicians to support their continuous development in the field.
Recognizing the diverse indigenous peoples of Alberta, the CDTA acknowledges the traditional territories and Treaty lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney Nakoda, Tsuu T’ina Nation, and Métis People. By honoring the ancestral caretakers of the land, the CDTA demonstrates respect for the rich heritage of the region.
