The René Magritte Museum occupies the house in which the Belgian surrealist painter worked nearly 24 years of his life. Beside the apartment where the painter lived, a biographical exhibition is spread on the two upper floors. Since 2019, a new wing presents a selection of 200 works of Belgian abstract Art. During week-ends, it requiered to book your visit online ! Don't get this museum mixed up with the Magritte Museum (collection of paintings), which is a wing of the Fine Arts Museum (City center).
